ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, we released our 3rd Studio Album, 'Weight Of The Sky.' The album reached #155 on the AAA charts, and #7 on Relix/Jambands.com album charts. We are certainly proud of the music we've created, and happy to pass along to you that we are continuing to create new material!

Stallings, NC— August 21, 2018 — The 2018 Carolina Music Awards ceremony was held on Saturday evening August 11, 2018 in Raleigh, NC. Union county, NC Folk band Province Of Thieves was named the winner in the Bluegrass/Folk category from amongst a half dozen other nominees from across the two Carolinas. Bands/artists nominated for a Carolina Music Award must be independent music artists (not signed to a record label) from either North or South Carolina. Award selection is based partially on online voting, and partially on judge selection.
This is the first award/recognition won by Province Of Thieves. River Jam at the U.S. National Whitewater Center brings together live musical performances throughout the year to a one-of-a-kind outdoor venue, right in the middle of the world’s largest man-made whitewater river. Genres including roots rock, americana, bluegrass, folk, and funk take center stage Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights as well as during each of the USNWC’s festivals. Bring your friends, enjoy our large food and craft beer selection, and take in the sights and sounds of River Jam. EVENT DETAILS: Time: 7:00pm – 10:00pm Dates: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, May - September; select Festivals. Price: Free ($6 per vehicle parking fee). Weather: Events are scheduled to proceed rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the USNWC reserves the right to reschedule/cancel live music performances. Join us at 6:30pm on Thursdays for River Jam Run and Open Water Swim. Experience Big Water Sessions at 6:30pm on Thursdays and 7:00pm on Fridays. Yoga will be offered on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 6:30pm. Clinics will be offered every Friday evening at 6:30pm.
