ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, we released our 3rd Studio Album, 'Weight Of The Sky.' The album reached #155 on the AAA charts, and #7 on Relix/Jambands.com album charts. We are certainly proud of the music we've created, and happy to pass along to you that we are continuing to create new material!
Stallings, NC— August 21, 2018 — The 2018 Carolina Music Awards ceremony was held on Saturday evening August 11, 2018 in Raleigh, NC. Union county, NC Folk band Province Of Thieves was named the winner in the Bluegrass/Folk category from amongst a half dozen other nominees from across the two Carolinas. Bands/artists nominated for a Carolina Music Award must be independent music artists (not signed to a record label) from either North or South Carolina. Award selection is based partially on online voting, and partially on judge selection. This is the first award/recognition won by Province Of Thieves. The band had also been previously nominated for a 2017 Queen City Music Award.
